Let's say that launching a website while there is a big conference like the Tokyo Game Show, isn't really a nice move, heh..

However we've been popping up around the internet, the most noticeable advertise is the one we've managed to get at GameTrailers.com. We've been posted between games like Dead Space or Starcraft II, such an honor!

Back to "paper" press we'll probably end up to be published in an important italian magazine in the December issue, but i'll post more details as soon as we'll have the prints.

Many of you may have seen in the debut teaser a model of capital ship which isn't really good looking. In fact that was a pre-summer build of a frigate class capital ship, for one of the three factions present in the game.
Those browsing our forums could already see a render preview that i posted there


Now, here you can see how it looks ingame!



We are receiving many encouraging feedbacks and this is a great reward for our work!

Size wise, how big is a frigate compared to other ships? I'm assuming it is one of the smaller capital ships?
This frigate is around 900m long, 400m max width and 190m max height. For the moment it's the biggest capship "ready to be shown" Smile

Fighters go from 14 meters long (the smallest) up to 25 meters.

sorry but we use metric measurement sys, so i don't really know measures in inches and such Smile
Beautiful work. I bet these pictures don't do it any justice, though. I can't wait to see it in the game.
Pfft, metric system is the only way to go. Smile
Love the design style of the frigate, it looks a little lacking in point defence for such a big ship though.

It's a choice for that faction, this frigate class is designed to be a pain for hostile capships, rather than against small targets. To counter enemy fighters attacking the rear, the commander should dispatch a couple of allied fighter wings.
Any chance of seeing some more concept art etc?
I'm also quite interested on knowing how you're making these beasties - what maps you're using and how big they are etc
